The Story of My First 100 Medium Followers?
Two Years, 100 Followers……
The picture is my favorite quote from one of my favorite books. I live by it: if someone or something feels like home, you always come back to them. Always!
Reaching specific milestones when starting something new is always a special moment. For me, achieving the first 100 followers on any platform is an accomplishment. Even though it took me two years to achieve this goal, I am happy, and now I know how much it means.
How and why did it take two years for me to achieve the 100-follower milestone?
In 2021, when I started writing for the first time, my family was going through a very rough time. At that time, writing brought me a sense of calm. I found joy in writing about anything; watching series or reading books were also helpful. Although I found platforms to write and earn, my true ambition is to explore my passion for writing. I discovered various freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and HubPages, which was something I wanted to explore.
Starting a new project or task can be tough, and getting a small amount of recognition can help motivate and build confidence. Sadly, this doesn't always happen, and it can lead to feelings of discouragement and wanting to give up. I know this all too well, as I've put in my best effort before without receiving any recognition or views, and it made me feel disheartened.
I understand that success takes time and effort. However, I struggled to keep going and ultimately gave up on something I loved instead of fighting for it.
What is my reason for restarting my writing journey again, and what motivates me this time?

This is me in 2023, happy and determined to start again. I have two strong reasons to keep going this time. Please do not give up on this time, Miss Anju Jagarwal.
- First, I discovered my love for writing after completing a course that assigned me tasks, leading me to pursue it seriously.
- Second, I enjoy reading articles on Medium. One day, I came across a blog post on the medium blog about updates to the partner program in different countries, and I felt inspired to start writing again.
